News Night anchor Will McAvoy takes on the Koch Brothers on Newsroom

News Night anchor Will McAvoy I feel bad for those of you who don’t subscribe to HBO, Newsroom alone is worth the monthly cost, this show is fabulous.

In Episode 3 Will McAvoy, played by Jeff Daniels, takes on the Tea Party who he suggests has been taken over by the Koch Brothers and have hijacked the Republican Party.

I know this is fiction, but the stories on this show are real, and Will McAvoy’s assumptions could not be more correct.

The Koch Brothers are in the process of buying our Government, and so far, we are letting them.  Don’t forget, we have the power to stop them. Even with the 400 million they are expected to spend in this election cycle, they still only have 2 votes.

Come on 98%, pull it together. Even Will McAvoy, a Republican, can see what they are up to. I promise you, if we let the Koch Brothers win, we won’t like the consequences.

I love this show.

James Lipton, host of the Actor’s  Studio, has Mitt Romney pegged to a tee.  In the video below, James gives Mitt advice on how to Act Human.  Way too funny.  And Willie Geist, host of Way Too Early on MSNBC looks good too.

I Stand with President ObamaI stand with President Obama, what a great leader he has turned out to be.

Our President did a brave and courageous thing today, taking a stand, no matter the Political consequences.  Isn’t that what we want from all of our Politicians?

We have a Congress full of Republicans that don’t care about doing good things for the American people, they only care about their next election.  Their focus is on trying to avoid being taken out by a well funded Tea Party primary candidate, so they vote the way the Tea Party wants them to, regardless if that vote is bad for the country.

I am so proud of our President, a man with true grit and integrity.

Dear Mitt: No more lies. You did nothing to save Detroit.

Tonight Jennifer Granholm got fed up with Mitt Romney’s pandering, flip-flopping and lies.  As usual, Mitt is taking credit for something he had nothing to do with and not giving President Obama the credit he deserves for saving the automobile industry in this country and saving millions of jobs.

If Mitt had had his way back then and we had let the auto industry fail, can you imagine what the unemployment rate would be now?  Hey Mitt, you think an 8.1% unemployment rate is bad?  You think it should be 7%?  What would it be if you had been in charge and let the auto industry fail?  Maybe 9%? Maybe 10%? Maybe 11%?

Get a grip Mitt!

This is the funniest video ever.  I think Republican men think that women really think this way.
