Mitt Romney works for Billionaires

Why do People vote against their own best interests?

I must admit, this is the most perplexing thing to me. As a semi-intelligent person, I don’t understand what goes through people’s minds. It reminds me of Jim Jones and his followers who drank the poison Kool-aid.

The Republican Party has gone crazy. Not only is the GOP side of the Presidential Election being controlled by billionaires and huge corporations, Congress is being controlled as well.  The Republicans are told how to vote, and if they don’t go along, the Tea Party threatens them with Tea Party opponents in their next reelection bid.

Case in point:  When was the last time ALL Republican women in Congress voted against Women’s issues? Simple. Every time since the 2010 Election. That doesn’t even make logical sense. Traditionally women stick together across party lines, except for Michele Bachmann of course, she too odd to count. For these smart women to vote against their own interests, something has to be going on to influence their votes.

I thought politicians went to Capitol Hill to do good for the American people.  Apparently I was wrong. Republicans spend every waking hour and every vote getting reelected. If they vote correctly, the Tea Party lets them keep their seat and may even throw them some money for the next campaign. They don’t care about the American people anymore.

President Obama works for the American peopleLook at the difference between the Obama and Romney campaigns.  Obama’s donations are small and come from many individual donors.  Romney’s donations are large and come from a few Billionaires and Corporations.

When the election is over, who are these two candidates going to be beholden to if they win? Their donors. For President Obama, that would be the American people. For Mitt, that would be the Billionaires and Corporations.

So let me ask you, what happens to you if Mitt Romney wins? Are you a member of the exclusive 1%? If so, you’d have life made. If you are not so lucky and belong to the 99% like I do, you’d be f….., sorry I can’t put that kind of language in print.

Here’s what I don’t understand, why would anyone who is not in the 1% vote for Mitt Romney.  Why would anyone vote to voluntarily vote against their own best interests to return to the Bush failed policies? Why would they vote to further decimate the economy and their own livelihood?

Best case scenario: President Obama gets re-elected, we vote out all Republicans in Congress who are now running for re-election. We all prosper, no longer trickling down with failed policies.

Here Mitt, Elizabeth Warren has something to tell you.

For once, Joe Scarborough got it right when he reported in Politico this morning and said again on Morning Joe (MSNBC),

“Crazy Never Wins”

With the crazy talk coming from the Republican candidates, truer words have never been spoken.  As everyday in the 2012 Campaign passes, there is one more crazy statement by a Republican Candidate, sometimes more.

Crazy Never Wins starts at 2:00 minutes into the video.
