Nick Hanauer speaking at TEDNick Hanauer is a venture capitalist at Second Avenue Partners and an entrepreneur who has been involved in many companies.

  • Pacific Coast Feather Company
  • Museum Quality Framing Company
  • Amazon.com
  • gear.com (which eventually merged with Overstock.com)
  • Avenue A Media (which was acquired by Microsoft for $6.4 billion under the new name aQuantive)

Nick gave an enlightening talk at TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) on the economy that speaks the truth!  It’s a simple concept really.  It verifies that the policies President Obama has been trying to implement are the answer.  Obama’s proposed policies are the complete opposite of the views and policies of the Republican party.  If Democrats had the back up they need to implement these policies, no thanks to the Republicans and Tea Party, today’s economy would look a lot different.

The current problem is not President Obama, the problem is the Republicans in Congress!!!!!!!! Come on America, we need to vote out ALL Republicans both in Congress and in the States.

Finally someone speaks the truth about how jobs are really created.  It’s a simple concept:  Make sure your consumers (the middle and lower class) can afford to buy your products!

When the 1% get more money they don’t hire people or create jobs, they don’t consume more, they invest the money, and not always in this country.

Don’t be fooled by what Mitt Romney and the Republicans say, they want to give MORE to the top 1%.  These proposed policies are the Bush administration on steroids.  Did you like the Bush economy? Did you like 750,000 jobs a month being lost? If Romney is elected President not only will we return to that, but President Obama and the Democrats won’t be there to protect your Unemployment, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.  Try the Bush economy WITHOUT the safety-net

The GOP says that there is no War on Women, that it was manufactured by the Obama Campaign.  Well guess what GOP, election day might give you a clue on who votes in this country.

Without our vote, you can’t win.  Stop treating women like second class citizens.

Don’t you people have Wives, Mothers, Sisters and Daughters?  I can’t believe that you would treat you daughters the way you treat the women in your states.  Shame on you.

Lena C. Taylor, Wisconsin State Senator and Nina Turner, Ohio State SenatorYou have to watch these two wonderful women, Senator Lena Taylor of Wisconsin and Senator Nina Turner of Ohio. Once again the Republicans put Corporations over Women.

This is our call to action women, we need to come together and vote out all Republican that currently holds State or Federal Elected office.  These men are so arrogant they think they can force us to do anything and we will just lie down and take it.  Not in this Country and not in this Century!

Our vote counts, there are more of us then there are of them. Come on women, join us in this life changing effort.

Vote for the other guy?  Wow Mitt, that was Presidential.  Angry much?

Is it just me or does anyone else think Romney and Santorum are getting crankier and meaner as this primary season goes on?  What a way to talk to a group of voters.  I must admit, it sounded like the crowd wasn’t very large, but still, where is your Presidential response?  Are you running for President Mitt?  Why don’t you have a civil response ready for questions like this?
