Nick Hanauer speaking at TEDNick Hanauer is a venture capitalist at Second Avenue Partners and an entrepreneur who has been involved in many companies.

  • Pacific Coast Feather Company
  • Museum Quality Framing Company
  • Amazon.com
  • gear.com (which eventually merged with Overstock.com)
  • Avenue A Media (which was acquired by Microsoft for $6.4 billion under the new name aQuantive)

Nick gave an enlightening talk at TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) on the economy that speaks the truth!  It’s a simple concept really.  It verifies that the policies President Obama has been trying to implement are the answer.  Obama’s proposed policies are the complete opposite of the views and policies of the Republican party.  If Democrats had the back up they need to implement these policies, no thanks to the Republicans and Tea Party, today’s economy would look a lot different.

The current problem is not President Obama, the problem is the Republicans in Congress!!!!!!!! Come on America, we need to vote out ALL Republicans both in Congress and in the States.

Finally someone speaks the truth about how jobs are really created.  It’s a simple concept:  Make sure your consumers (the middle and lower class) can afford to buy your products!

When the 1% get more money they don’t hire people or create jobs, they don’t consume more, they invest the money, and not always in this country.

Don’t be fooled by what Mitt Romney and the Republicans say, they want to give MORE to the top 1%.  These proposed policies are the Bush administration on steroids.  Did you like the Bush economy? Did you like 750,000 jobs a month being lost? If Romney is elected President not only will we return to that, but President Obama and the Democrats won’t be there to protect your Unemployment, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.  Try the Bush economy WITHOUT the safety-net

Really Mitt?

I’ve often wondered why anyone votes Republican!  How do they convince so many people to vote against their own interests?  All I can think about is Jim Jones who talked 900 people into drinking the Kool-Aid.

Who would vote for a party that is hell bent on taking away rights from the middle and lower classes?

Since they were voted into office in Congress and State houses across the country.  They campaigned on jobs and have governed   to take away Union rights, voting rights and women’s rights.

Once again, how do they convince so many people to vote against their own interests?

Need I say more?

Hey GOP radicals, pay close attention.  There are more of us than there are of you and we’re pissed.  All you have managed to do at this point is to rally women of both parties against you.  Good job.

You thought you would stop Democrats from voting through voter suppression efforts.  You succeeded in stopping some of us from voting, but by messing with women’s rights you have increased our numbers by turning your own supporters to the side of the Democrats who do everything possible to protect not only women’s rights, but everyone’s rights, even yours.

Continue to attempt to take away Women’s rights at your own peril, we know how to get even.  We will elect Democrats and we will work tirelessly to reverse all your negative efforts.

FYI:  Republicans may tell you they will vote for the Republican candidate to your face, but inside the voting booth they will vote their conscience and do what’s best for American women and the American people.

This slut votes too!
